  • Our largest deal was Punch’s £1.2bn corporate acquisition of Pubmaster
  • However, we have also sold individual pubs for less than £10m for key clients

An extension of our M&A services is advising entrepreneurs on raising “growth capital” for expansion from institutional investors including private equity, real estate funds and lenders.

Debt advisory services include review of capital structures and funding requirements including developing flexible financial models.  In addition, we conduct negotiations with finance providers to ensure a competitively-priced structure.

Strategy advice typically falls into two categories:

  • M&A: assisting clients in devising acquisition strategy including detailed screenings of target businesses
  • Commercial: market and profitability assessment.  In recent years, this has included advising UK brewers on improving financial performance and estate optimisation for pub operators
